Vyas the annual conference by the student branch is coming up this time on Jan 25,26 and 27,2008 along with Technozion'08 this time with a roaring theme "emPOWERing the future of COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY" .

We invite student authors to present their original ideas as papers/posters and their work as projects. Best paper/poster and best project award will be a cash award of not less than Rs. 25000/- and research assistance to innovative and produce more ingenious ideas. So what are you waiting for now. First half a well performed one...

The student branch had a very good first half in this calender year with a plethora of well planned and organized events hitting the schedule.Among the noted ones were

1) Series of lectures on 'Advanced computer architecture' by K. V. Sridhar
2) Tutorial on MATLAB with practice sessions
3) Lectures on PAPER PRESENTATION SKILLS,WAVELETS and MATLAB Applications by our own counselor Dr.D.V.S.S.Siva Sarma
4) Tutorials by student friends
5) An industrial visit to CPRI Hyderabad and IIIT Hyderabad

.....and last but not the least "The Open source workshop"..that was a big success..first of its kind in Warangal and huge participation..
